A little bit of what I do
I joined IFF at the end of 2017, having already worked in the research sector for six years. I’ve been lucky enough to work on a range of studies during my time in the industry, but I can now most often be found working on projects around welfare or the criminal justice system. I’m an experienced mixed methods researcher, but my passion definitely lies in qualitative research, as I feel it is really important for people to be able to tell their own stories and for clients to hear directly from the people who will be impacted by policy changes.
What I’ve achieved
I’m particularly proud of several highly sensitive studies I have been involved in around domestic abuse, prisoners, ex-offenders, disability benefits and reducing parental conflict. It’s been very rewarding to see recommendations being taken forward by clients to help improve the lives of the most vulnerable groups in society.
