A little bit of what I do

I’ve been working in research for a decade, specialising in higher education, schools, skills and workforce development. I work across both quantitative and qualitative methods, with particular expertise in large-scale surveys – sampling, survey design and cognitive testing, weighting etc. On the qual side I’m interested in innovative approaches such as deliberative focus groups and ethnography.

What I’ve achieved

I’ve led major studies for clients including the Department for Education, Office for Students, Ofsted, and HESA, covering topics such as the lived experiences of learners and professionals (e.g. teachers and social workers), the student experience and graduate destinations.
