IFF launch On Track: The Class of 2007

On Track: Class of 2007 is a study which will track the progress of leavers from colleges and universities in Scotland. The study will help colleges and universities to understand the impact of their courses on students and to identify improvements that can be made for students of the future.

Ultimately, the information collected will inform policy-makers, colleges and universities, employers and students.

A sample of students leaving college or university in 2007 (the ‘Class of 2007’) will be surveyed at regular stages: when they complete their course; 12 months after leaving; in three years time and in five years time.

The study has been commissioned by The Scottish Further and Higher Education Funding Council (SFC), with the support of Universities Scotland, the Association of Scotland’s Colleges and the national Union of Students in Scotland.
