IFF assessing the benefits and impact of learning in London
IFF has been commissioned by the Learning and Skills Council to undertake 3
related studies involving 4,000 interviews with recent adult FE learners in
London; designed to assess the benefits and impact of their learning. The work
builds on a successful pilot undertaken in 2007. The research will explore
issues such as whether those who achieve their qualification aim to progress
further or quicker than non-achievers and early leavers, and the extent to which
lower level courses act as a base for progression to more advanced study and
employment.
